Interior Design Services in Victoria, BC, and beyond

Small renovation or a new build, residential or commercial, our design team is here to assist! We will listen to you, guide you, and take the overwhelm out of the design and construction process. We pride ourselves on our thoughtful and worldly approach to our luxury interior design services, creating impeccably tailored and functional spaces built to last.

  • Our proven, six step process provides the framework for our full scope design projects:

Research: a thorough analysis of both client and space, looking at needs, wants, budget and timeline.

Conceptual Design: initial presentation and discussion of ideas which form the general design direction.

Design Development: a more refined design phase where we build floor plans, start 3D renderings and begin selecting materials, furniture and fixtures.

Construction Development: a formalized construction package with construction and permit drawings, as well as written specifications for items to be ordered or built.

Procurement and Project Management: purchasing of finishing materials, decorative lighting, and furniture; managing all orders/deliveries; overseeing and managing the construction and installation process.

Staging and Sign Off: ensuring all construction/product deficiencies are remedied and that the client is happy with all outcomes before styling and accessorizing to magazine quality.

  • Partial interior design services are for clients who aren’t ready for a full design package, but require more than just a consultation. We are here to help you with the following:

Design FAQs

Please see the following for answers to some of our most commonly asked questions.

Need additional information? Please email us or inquire here to discuss your specific needs.

  • Despite each project being unique, we have a tried and true formula for running our projects.

Please refer to the Full Service, Partial Design or Design Consulting drop downs above to identify what will suit your needs best.

Or, let’s work together to determine the best course of action for you!

  • The best design is collaborative, and we are working for you! Each iteration, material and design is presented and discussed with you to ensure your needs are being met (or exceeded).

During certain phases we will be meeting in person or virtually, and during others, phone and email communication is sufficient.

  • It is best to know your budget before you approach a designer so we can design with that in mind.

It is even better to have separate numbers in mind for construction/finishes and another for furnishings, art and decor.

If you need help with budget creation, our team is up-to-date on local pricing and will be happy to develop one with you.

  • The sooner the better! Finding a designer you like and trust is critical to the success of your project. Since designers often cap their client numbers to maintain quality control, it can sometimes take a few months to get started.

Once the design phase starts, it usually takes a few months to a year before permits are submitted and construction starts.

  • Initial meetings, whether in person or virtual, are 45 minutes and complimentary. These are an opportunity to discuss your project and get to know each other, and for the designer to gather enough information to build a proposal.

    Please bring:

    copies of floor plans

    photos of existing space

    inspiration photos

wish list for interior design changes

    budget

    timeline for completion

Please note, the 45 minute meeting is arranged after an initial 15 minute onboarding call, should the designer and client feel aligned.

  • We bill a competitive hourly rate for our interior design services and provide detailed timesheets with our invoices.

Alternatively, we provide fixed contracts for blocks of design time.

When I moved into my condo, I didn’t even own cutlery.

Ambre was able to order everything and put it all together while I was away. It really took the guesswork and stress out of things. I appreciate her love for original art, wallpapers, and mixing high and low pieces to get a layered and unique look.

Several years later, I’m still very happy with all the selections she made!
